Builder recommendation

Hello, I'm looking for a builder and wondered whether anyone had any recommendations in south west London? Does anyone have any experience with Kantec? Thank you!

i’ve heard positive things about Bashtan - based in Fulham. They have a loyal following - a couple of their clients ended up working for them in the office. They did a friend’s large refurb (side return, loft, half basement) and she was very pleased. If you’re into reality TV, they’ve also done work for one of the Made in Chelsea crew..

I don’t know Kantec but couple of tips (which you may well know) before you appoint: make sure they don’t sub-contract the job out - there are a lot of good sub-contractors but you’re taking a chance. Check their financials on Companies House - you want to see a solid trading history. You should get a 10% retention - 5% on completion and 5% six months later after snagging.
