How much do you think it would cost to get a sliding patio door taken out, and a window of the same size put in?

We want to turn the converted garage that's currently being used as a dining room into a bedroom.

Any guidance is appreciated :)

Do you mean replacing the patio doors with exactly the same sized window, is in approx 1.8m x 1.8m?
Or the same width and brickwork underneath?

I'd leave it as is, if cost is the main factor. Just change the lock so that it needs a key to open from inside if there's concerns of people leaving that way

It will be used as a child's bedroom so we don't want to leave it as a patio door.

Anyone know a rough cost??
