Stone or acrylic bath, Matt or polished! 😳

Help, doing a new bathroom and have to choose asap. I thought stone baths were more expensive but seen some that are similar priced to acrylic. Then there is a choice of Matt or polished so I’m all confused. It’s for a loft conversion. Thanks

The cheaper stone ones are usually a higher % resin and less crushed stone

Matt stone is harder to keep clean, it marks easily and it’s hard to get the marks off (I have a sink in matt stone by Lusso)

Stone baths with a high % stone weigh a tonne especially once full and so may need floor reinforcement

@minipie yes totally agree re cleaning matte stone - I had a matte bath by Lusso and it was REALLY hard to keep it looking clean (plus a couple of sinks but they were a bit easier to scrub). If you do opt for a matte stone bath, Bar Keepers Friend is essential!
