Flipper panel on shower water leaking

We have had a new walk in shower installed with a shower screen with a flipper panel. A small amount of water will escape through where the panel is installed is this normal? Never had a flipper panel before so not sure if we should expect a small amount of leakage.

Do you mean from underneath it or between the flipper panel and the fixed one, as in the hinge between the two.

Underneath it is pretty normal

More between the flipper panel and the fixed one where the hinge is there's a plastic sealing part between the two but it still leaks a bit
