Is Saturday the wrong day to go live on right move?

House went on right move at 12pm, estate agent shuts at 2pm, back open on Monday.

I feel like the house will go further down the right move page by Monday and then it'll be hidden.

First time seller, am I over thinking this?

We are house hunting and I'd say weekends is when I spend most time scrolling on right move/zoopla....I have more free time on weekends and often find myself pages in. So I'd say no, it should do no harm and may even go in your favour

It’s probably the best time, people have more time to look at the weekend and so by Monday morning hopefully the agent will be going through the enquiries and booking viewings.

Also generally serious buyers will have alerts set up so if yours meets their criteria they will see it.

Yes, good points. Thank you

If I were serious about finding the right property, I'd be searching a good way down the list just in case. I'd just be a bit frustrated having to wait until Monday before I enquired about your home, but at least not much would have happened in the meantime.

OK granted I was hunting during the post covid craze but our current house went up on a weekend and I rang as soon as the estate agents opened on the Monday for the next available slot to see it.

As pp said the weekend is when house Hunters will be browsing.

Ive been househunting very recently. After the first couple of days looking at everything in my price range/location on rightmove, I changed the setting to added last 3 days, then refreshed multiple times a day. Your house won't get missed by serious buyers if uploaded on Monday. Trust me Blush

Gardenflowerss · 22/06/2024 21:33

Yes I remember when I was a FTB, I would refresh Rightmove multiple times a day too, but waiting until Monday would have been really annoying.
Let's hope my phone is none stop buzzing on Monday with viewings

You’re overthinking it - good luck for some viewings getting booked in next week😀

Ours went live on a Saturday and we had an open house on the Monday and sold on the Tuesday. I think people have more time to look and decide at a weekend. Good luck 🤞
