I grew up in East London and I am looking to start a family and buy a property in Essex. I love the buzz of London and the idea of having a gym and park with many activities on your doorstep. This helps me get out of the house during our long winter periods.
so far I have enjoyed Harrow Lodge park and am looking at properties on Warren drive which overlooks the park. For my budget of £600k I am able to get a 4 bed house with garden access to the park.
I havnt seen many properties overlooking a park with that much to offer anywhere else but please do point out some areas I should look at.
Can I please get some advice on the area, I know Elm Park is the least desirable part of Hornchurch but I’m not sure how unsafe it is. Is it just normal levels of crime around the station or is there more to it ?
I am planning for a family and I was thinking of sending my child to Harrow Lodge primary school which is outstanding but I’m not sure what I would do for secondary schools ? There is Hornchurch high school and Abbs Cross.
