Dirty grout

Huge marble tiles in my dining room with very dirty once white grout. Would one of those whitening grout pens look awful?

It doesn't need retiling. Just lightening!

Try bicarbonate of soda made into a paste and use a toothbrush.

Frankly, I'd re-grout entirely.

I've found pink stuff and a toothbrush has helped in the past, leaving it on for a while

If it's black mould then you need that HG Mould Spray. Nothing is as effective but open your windows cos it stinks. Oh and test it on an unseen area as its potent stuff and you dont want it wrecking your tiles.

It's not mould. It's just grubby. I don't want to regrout.

Id still give it a scrub with a stiff brush and your cleaner of choice, then you can give it a go with the grout pen.

They're stone floor tiles. Huge things. The grout is a kind of off white creamy colour I think. But darker in high traffic areas. Iyswim

I dont think a grout pen would last on a floor tile. Youre best off googling how to clean floor tile grout. A good scrub should bring it up better.
