Push button/lever toilet - which more reliable

We're planning to have a new bathroom soon. Does anyone know if push button or lever handle toilets are more reliable?

Have lived with three push button and two have needed repair within eight years. Can't remember ever living with a broken lever handle all the years before, but don't know how well they're made these days.

All the numerous push button loos I have owned in multiple properties have needed fixing/replacing at some point
Whereas, none if the lever ones, (which are older, & probably not made out if plastic) have needed replacing

Thank you. We're edging towards the lever handle as quite like the style of toilet, but overall want something reasonably reliable.
