Kitchen fitter cost

Has anyone had any rough prices recently for a kitchen fitter?

Long story short DH has single handedly completed our garage conversion with knock through from the existing kitchen and dining room, electrics and plumbing included, the room is now freshly plastered with building control sign off.

He’s pretty much run out of steam now especially as we’ve got a baby and wants to get a fitter in for the actual kitchen unit install. We’re in the north, which probably impacts prices. Is anyone happy to share a ballpark figure? Kitchen is from DIY kitchens.

I recently paid £2050 for new kitchen to be fitted, not including skimming and tiling.

Kitchen is 3mx3m and I've got base units on 3 sides and wall units on just one side.

Oh but that did include ripping out the old kitchen too.

My husband is a joiner and approved fitter for Wren and other similar suppliers. He says approx £5-6k (1-2 weeks work for 2 men); depending on what you are doing re tiling, flooring etc. Hope that helps with a rough idea xx

I paid £2200 3 years ago. This was just for fitting the units. My kitchen is also from DIY Kitchens. We're in London.
