If you wanted marble look without the high maintenance of marble what would you choose for worktops and splashback?

Neolith? Quartz ? Porcelain ? Something else ?

Thanks in advance

We have gone for quartzite. Beautiful natural stone, but much more durable. However would say definitely get a couple of samples and test them for red wine, vinegar, curry, tomato purée etc. we looked at a quartzite which was more akin to a dolomite and it stained badly. The more crystalline ones didn't stain at all

Also went with quartzite and agree with the above advice. We have a very crystalline one and no issues with staining.
