Moving House

Hi Mums,
After years of being on rent, we finally can afford to buy our own place but the budget is about £350K max! We would love to buy a 2-3 bedroom house with a garden and parking. It has to be near a bus stop (5-10 minute walk is fine) as need to travel to work in Oxford city centre, by bus. No need to be close to schools as our son will be leaving school soon anyway. We are thinking of Bicester, Eynsham, Witney, Botley, Abingdon, Headington areas. (love Kidlington but way too expensive). We would like a good residential area as lots of night walking after work, so the area has to be safe. Anyone has any suggestion about good areas?? We would really appreciate and eternally grateful!! Many thanks!!

How about Wheatley. It's lovely. You don't get much for your money there but there are a few available, and the buses are very frequent. Otherwise I think I'd look at Abingdon

By the way you might want to get this moved to the property board for more traffic

I agree a move to Property or Chat will probably help. And putting the area in the title.

Thank you for your suggestions. I am pretty new here so don't know how to move it! I will try..

Report your own post, choose 'other' and explain the box. The admins will sort it for tou.

Of the areas you mention I'd go for Eynsham, Witney or Abingdon. Eynsham is dearer as closer to North Oxford but all are nice and very safe.
