Failed property Completion

Hi, funds were meant to be released today. But lenders solicitor said they are awaiting valuer queries to be answered. Valuer queries were never mentioned before but they just said it in last minute. Is this worrying?

Is this failed exchange or completion? It isn't clear from your post. The consequences of each are higely different.

@Tayyab Were you due to complete on the purchase yesterday?

Normally your solicitor would have ensured the funds were in your solicitor account ready to transfer to your vendor?

Failure to complete is a serious issue, and I imagine your solicitor is advising you if this is the problem.

If you were due to exchange, it’s frustrating but hopefully the queries will be quickly sorted… just wait until all the paperwork and money is ready to go with your solicitor.
