I've just sold my house and am moving into renting. It's been so long since I've rented that I can't remember this, and I wanted to ask.
If I sign a year lease to rent a flat.
Can I leave it before the year is up.
And if I do leave what is the penalty. Is the penalty that you lose your deposit.
Or is the penalty, that you have to still pay the rent for the remaining months of the year?
