Help! About 10 months ago I brought home a shoe rack I saw outside a house, we needed one and it looked great. Got it home, put in hall and a few days later realised it was full of wood worm. Chucked it out but kept then finding those furniture beetles everywhere. Well since then, I am finding more and more beetles! Downstairs in hall where I put, crawling up the walls of the stairs and in the bathroom. What do I do?! Have they got into the wood we have now and what can be done?

so annoyed I thought this shoe rack was a good idea! Things are usually free for a reason!!

I have no idea but what a nightmare! I would imagine your council could advise, in my head I'm imagining a fumigation type treatment but I may have imagined that!

You can spray for woodworm and it’s not crazy expensive

Get the pest control in.

They look like bedbugs not woodworm.

Bedbugs?! Ahh god no they’re bigger than that and they fly! Realised when one flew out of my hand! Not even sure where to spray as no where in particular they tend to live!!
