Not saying who is who, but one of the neighbours has their front door open often (mostly spring/summer/early autumn) with the radio on which the other neighbour would be able to hear when leaving, locking up or coming home. Is this unreasonable?

That wouldn't bother me at all, not even if it was jazz, as it's literally only for a minute or two at a time.

I wouldn't be bothered by hearing a snatch of music every now and again.

Not a problem (and I hate neighbour noise). If it’s just when arriving/leaving. But surely it can also be heard from inside the house? For example if someone is in a front room and has the window open, presumably it can be heard then too?

I’m confused. I’m guessing this is only during the day?
Mind you, a bloke further down our road likes to wash his car every other day and has a little radio with him, which you can hear if you walk past and a neighbour on the other side of me (so further away) tried to get me to sign a petition to make him stop, so I guess nothing about people should surprise me now.

Would bother me if it meant I couldn't sit with my windows open in the summer. I hate other people's noise... nothing you can do about it, but it is still bloomin annoying.

Over the road washes his bike ALL weekend, with the radio going.
I'd prefer not to hear his choice in music all day, but it's more like background, not in your face.

So, preferably not audible, but I wouldn't complain if it is low noise in the house.

It's a bit odd to keep your front door open but I wouldn't be bothered by hearing her music.
