How many 2nd viewings did you have before you sold?

Had a second viewing over the weekend (our first one) Obviously trying not to get hopes up too much but we've found a house we want to buy so finding that tricky! I know there is no way of knowing if they're likely to offer or not until they say but I'm just wondering on our chances really. How many people came back for a second viewing on your house before you went under offer? Thanks

Had 2 second viewings but neither of those offered. Two other couples offered after 1st viewing.

I can’t remember specifically with houses I’ve sold (I think probably 2-3??) but as a buyer, the first and second houses I bought were the only ones I had viewed a second time.

on our current search we viewed 5 more than once; two of those we offered on but didn’t get (or couldn’t agree price), 3 we decided not to offer after the second viewing. Now in the process of buying a place.

the first two houses were fairly normal houses in a city though whereas current purchase were all big houses, needing (lots of) renovation, with land/ outbuilding so it is a much more complex process. We’ve always been pretty serious when we’ve gone for a second viewing though but logistics and costs of what work needs doing are hard to fully grasp on a first viewing and can be decisive in ‘big project’ houses….but in a normal house much less likely!

Oddly no one wanted second viewings until after id sold each time.

People sometimes wanted a second viewing but the house always sold before they wanted to view it again.

Sadly I'm on buyer number 3 as the other two pulled out. One couldn't get a mortgage which is fair enough and the other pulled out on exchange day. Im hoping this buyer stays the course haha

People who pull out on exchange day are so awful. It's like jilting someone at the altar. If they wanted to pull out WHY would they wait till then. I hope the house they went on to buy is infested with mice!
Good luck with your new buyers
