Kitchen companies where you can design your own

So far I have found IKEA and DIY Kitchens. Are there any others? Not bespoke types as I'm not that rich.

I want to be able to see a list of all their cabinet sizes. Plus things like all the types of corner unit they offer.

Wickes, Wren and Magnet all just have shiny websites with no real information! They want you to book a design appointment. I don't want a design appointment. I just want to know if they can make the cabinet sizes I want!

TIA 😁

If you go into store with Wickes I think they have the sizes on display. Also Howdens. Go, pick up a brochure and look at the door colours and different thicknesses, textures etc. in person

God, that's annoying. These places all used to give you all the unit sizes. I'm with you, having to get their Saturday boy to design my kitchen in 90 minutes rather than letting me do it myself in my own time would definitely be a deal breaker.

@OttersAreMySpiritAnimal good idea, pretty sure there's a Wickes reasonably local actually.

@Tupster you're not wrong! I'm pretty sure it's because they're trying to hide their prices / upsell you, but it's very annoying and puts me right off them!

@MajorMischa I wouldn't assume the bespoke types are unaffordable though. Look in your area for small independents. I had my kitchen done last year, went to a small independent. They had several ranges at different price points, I was clear on my budget and they stuck to it. Some won't do anything under 10k but lots will, a phone call first helps to rule companies in or out. Also, if you know what you want layout wise then there's no design involved, but it is useful to have them put it in their design software so you can get printouts of the layout drawing.

Totally agree with @OttersAreMySpiritAnimal . Our new kitchen is going in later this year - having gone to Howdens, Wren and DIY, we've decided on going with a local bespoke kitchen company to make and install solid wood cabinetry, worktops, all electric and plumbing. They came in the same price as Howdens with a fitter and are designing the kitchen to our wants and needs.
