Out daughter is buying a house and we have offered to pay for a couple of items not included in the sale.(£2000) Vendor has filled out form with solicitor to say what’s included etc. but How do we pay for these and are there any fees for solicitor doing this is is it better to pay vendor direct? We have they contact details and have been messaging them

Best to ask the solicitor.

I would do it all via official channels so it is all clear. Doing it informally coild leaves all parties open to dispute with no clear trail and expectations.
