Drains smell when flushing loo

Hiya

There's a really strong drains smell when we flush one of the loos - do I need to get a drains man out?

Yes! Is your loo gurgling to after you flush? We had this last week. There was a blockage between us and the main sewer. 🤮

Have you checked your Bath, basin and particularly shower taps have water in them? If they dry out the a l drain angel when you flush the loo is horrific. Might be worth running lists of water and soap down them for a bit to re fill them abs seeing if it helps. Hope is nothing serious, orhwise you might have a blockage somewhere along the pipes.

Got a man coming out this afternoon to have a look...and a sniff probably.

We thought we had a gas leak (the gas man said no), blamed our Tom cat (who has been snipped but was looking shifty) but it was definitely blocked drains. A quick "rodding" should solve it! 😁
