That is a truly awful house. Gives me shivers!

Not with the step up to the front door and all the small steps around the ground floor of the house.

Fortunately, he's very much wrong. I'm not sure how people are seeing any kind of grow house or drugs manufacturing. Previous posters have explained why that's not the case. The house is clearly someone with very specific/unusual/ugly taste (industrial/loft) who didn't get to finish their big plans.

I don't understand how the door/hatch space that looks like lots of electrical equipment in garden is a koi pond filter: it's propped open for a reason, no koi pond in view.

And the giant ventilation shaft into house, why?

Normally I despair of AI gushing estate agent description, but really could use some written description on this one.

It's so dark because there are no ceilings and the underneath of the floor above is black. My guess is that the bedrooms are fairly normal or trashed.

First couple of photos, I thought it looked like a quirky log cabin in the woods. Obviously we have different personal tastes, but the way it is, it's a total doer upper, with all that tape, over appliances, fuse box, I wonder if gas/electrics have been condemned.

I really want more detail . And I really wish it wasn't so easy to waste so much time on MN.
But can anyone explain what is going on in photo 4?
Are those pressure gauges up near the ceiling?

My first thought on seeing the kitchen was "ah, this is where the people were cooked and eaten" then I saw the glasses and realised that was his trophy stand a la Dexter and his blood samples

Yes I think so. If you look at pic 6 half way down the right hand side it looks like there's a Stevenson weather station thingy too.
