Small kitchen alcove ideas

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what to do with this small alcove space in my kitchen which is approx 50cm wide. Originally when I bought the house there was a narrow kitchen unit there which I ripped out and considered putting a fridge freezer unit in there but it's away from the rest of the appliances.

I'm thinking eventually I'll move things around so the new fridge freezer will be amongst the main part of the kitchen
As this part of the kitchen is an extension, the right part of the photo actually houses the waste pipe. I've thought about extending this stud pillar right along to the wall on the left so it eliminates all the poky angles and alcove.

I'm not sure what else to do with this little space so appreciate any input and ideas.

Perfect pantry or coffee station

Fridge freezers are usually wider than 50cm, so I would put in a coffee/breakfast station, or a cupboard below with shelves above. Drinks cabinet with nice glasses/display items. Or look for a pull.put larder unit, see if you. An find 1 at 50cm.

A coffee station sounds like a great idea. 👍

I would go for a floor to ceiling pantry

I'd go for a cupboard half height so you have an extra amount of storage but some space to display, but the odd extra kitchen item(s).
