Does anyone have experience selling to an investor?
Do they always offer lower than others
And if you dis accept did it go through without any issues?
Sister is selling but only had offers from investors at the moment

I sold my first house to an investor, (small one bed house) He only had a couple of buy to lets, and it all went through fine without any problems. He actually offered very near asking price.

That's good to hear it went well, I've heard of investors being like sharks and trying anything to lower the price even at the last minute.

I invested in two houses in the past. We agreed a price and I stuck to it. If by investor you mean a company, why should they get your property cheaper? Ask a realistic price and it doesn't matter who buys it. Someone with money is useful.

We sold to an investor; he offered £40k over asking price straight off the bat with no quibbling along the way, obviously had no chain and was very reasonable and friendly to deal with (sold through Purple Bricks so was easier for both of us to just communicate directly) and let us have the whole weekend following Friday completion to move out of the house as our removal company cancelled on us the day before and we couldn’t find a replacement!

He also sent us photo updates of the work he was doing to the house and then invited us to see it when it was finished, which was very thoughtful of him as it was DP’s much-loved childhood home 🙂 also left the many pet graves in the garden undisturbed, just laid fresh turf over them.

We may just have been incredibly lucky, but it worked very well for us.
