Quick fix for a flaking outside wall

Our house has been up for sale for around three months. We are going to reduce it a bit soon and are having some better photos done of a few areas including the back yard. We have a rendered wall in the yard that has started flaking any paint put on it very quickly - it never used to do this - and it looks scruffy very quickly. Instead of scraping off the flakes and painting it again we want to put something over it but if we put trellis over it you're going to see the flaky paint underneath until any plants grow. We really don't like those artificial leaf walls. Can anyone recommend anything else that isn't too expensive please?

I would scrape off the paint then use a stabiliser before repainting. Try to do this after a dry spell and when there’s no heavy rain forecast for a few days afterwards. If you can do it yourself it’s not an expensive job. I think this would look better than trying to hide it.
I’ve just done the same - after a very long wait for a dry spell! It has held up well so far.

Thanks but we're having photos done in a few days and it's pouring with rain. No chance of a dry spell for a while I reckon.
