Dulux Timeless or just white? East facing

We narrowed it down to Timeless, or perhaps White Cotton / Pure Brilliant White in our large open plan downstairs area.
The room is facing W and E, my only worry with using Timeless in the East part is that it seems to look quite grey.
House is a 70s build, we tend to prefer simple/modern furniture, but not the art gallery style.

Will Timeless look murky on cloudy days?
I've probably already tried all the dulux swatches 😣

I'd like to keep the chosen colour in some other rooms too, for consistency. Thanks :)

I think F&B is not the same product as Dulux. It wholly depends what you want . I think when brands are featured in very expensive houses, you have to take note. I don't believe many expensive paints are useless. Many are wonderful. They also have a variety of finishes which helps everyone get the right finish for their room or lifestyle.

Some expensive paints are expensive because they have a high solids count, which is fine, as you need fewer coats and the end product looks better too. Others are expensive because they're trendy. I haven't used F&B but decorators I come across don't generally rate it as value for money. earthborn claypaints I rate very highly indeed, but they are very high solid content and you can make very big colour changes with a couple of coats. For smaller colour/tone changes, I've often been tempted to leave it at one- though I usually do 2 just to make it a bit more hardwearing as it doesn't have lots of resins in. As far as I know there is nothing specifically different about F&B to many other paints.

The only thing I like about F&B are their colours. I can get similar in other brands, but I never like them quite as much. Often you get people gushing about how they change colour throughout the day but I assume most paints do this... it's actually the light that changes!

They are not particularly great in high traffic areas, especially not the low sheen ones, which are the ones that give the best finish. Decorators don't like using them as they often need a few extra coats. Little Greene is a better choice.

We have dulux jasmine white in our house (garden faces due east so get morning sun in east at the back and afternoon sun in the front of the house). We love it, a warm white which looks really nice day and night. Pbw is too blue for east facing.

@Jeezitneverends what aspect are the rooms?? I like Timeless on the west side more than on the east side.

Professional decorators prefer trade because of the density, F&B can need repeated coats.
