New kitchen and bathroom where to start

I finally have the £££ for a small extension plus new kitchen and bathroom. Problem is I don't know where to start. My design skills are non existent but I know vaguely what I would like both rooms to have. I do think I need some help with making best use of relatively small spaces - moreso kitchen.

Do I just go to a kitchen bathroom shop or is it best to have someone come round? I have £30k for kitchen and bathroom. I will not require all new appliances but will need dishwasher and fridge freezer. I would like to remove existing bath, add both a walk in shower and small soaking tub leaving the toilet where it currently is. Both the kitchen and bathroom are 3.1x2m.

I do feel a bit dense asking this as people update kitchens and bathrooms every day!

I would start by getting a free floor plan from a big kitchen or bathroom company like Easy Bathrooms, that will give you an idea of layout and likely cost.
30k doesn’t sound a lot to me for a new kitchen & bathroom as fitting costs are very high at the moment. But that would be where I would start & take it from there.

Forgot to say but if you look on Trustpilot you can see thousands of reviews for the big kitchen & bathroom companies, a bit better than listening to an handful of experiences.

Thank you so much Twiglets. I think I've built this up into a bigger issue than it needs to be.
