Dormer windows

How would you configure these dormer windows? Not sure whether to do similar to downstairs or have no upper section to the windows, make them all equal size etc? The dormer windows are longer than on the plan as there will be less panelling above. Thanks

I have a lot of dormer windows. I prefer to have the upper section, more on security than aesthetic reasons.
I feel more comfortable with the top small windows open and the main windows shut and locked in the summer when I'm downstairs. I worry about leaving the main windows open as I think with the sloping roof it would be easier for burglars to get in and I might not be aware.
