Peel and Stick flooring in the bedroom?

Hi all

If you have any experience with Peel and Stick flooring, could you let me know what you think of it? Would you use it again?

I am thinking of using it in the bedrooms as opposed to laminate or vinyl but dont want to rush and regret it after! I have seen some on B&Q and it says it's good for light traffic so fine for bedrooms but wanted to know if anyone's actually used it

Tia

Just to add, it's more of a temporary thing until we can save up for proper flooring. Ideally would like it to last a year or so

Is it going direct on top of floorboards?

If so it is likely to show the lines of the boards underneath after a while and you may have issues with keeping it stuck down due to dust from beneath. You'd need to seal the floorboards and ideally add a plywood layer beneath the peel and stick boards.

Carpet tiles could be a cheap alternative if only short term or buy a carpet roll end.

Thanks both :) yes we will be laying plywood down first and then putting the Peel and Stick on top

Would have gone for carpet except dh suffers from Asthma which gets really bad with carpet
