Bathroom planning - help !

Finally after 20 years I can get my bathroom done - it is the only bathroom so want to get it right. Any ideas who to help draw a deism as our current bathroom that is large is being made smaller as we will be chopping a bit off to make an en-suite from our bedroom.
The new bathroom should have space for a shower and bath bar in and loo but due to plumbing loo needs to stay in similar place. I want to get it right so not sure where to start. Recommendations of bathroom companies who offer design as well would be amazing - so many seem to just be on line and sell the bathroom suites expecting you to know what you’re doing !

Can you post a plan here?

We went to a small business and a lady (benevolent dictator) came here and inspected. She then went back to the shop and designed the bathroom and we could see it on her computer. The only thing we changed was the work top. That was about 4 years ago and we are still very pleased with it. We had investigated other companies but were very happy with the one we chose.

@Freddiefan how did you find someone you knew was reliable in your area ?

We looked at reviews and went by instinct. There were only three people in the company and they were very efficient. The man who did most of the work was amazing.

We've just used Easy Bathrooms and they were really good. You can choose to use their own fitters which we did, or use your own builder/fitter if you know a good one.

They will draw up a free plan for you which would be useful even if you ultimately decided to go with another bathroom supplier. Just don't use Wickes!

Victoria’s Plumbing does not have a good reputation on MN for resolving any complaints or conflicts. You might want to check out Trust Pilot for a greater range of opinions

FYI OP: I just checked Trust Pilot and VP is very highly rated over many ratings. Perhaps the MN postings I remember are outliers.

Also there’s Victoria Plumbing & Victoria Plumb. Two separate companies and people get them mixed up, one has gone into liquidation but can’t remember which one
