Does anyone have any experience of Cedral Slate Roof Tiles?

They are fibre cement roof tiles. The manufacturer says they should last for 50 years, but looking for people's knowledge and experiences. Has anyone used them or know of others who have and they lasted well, or not? Any other points to consider?

Are they expensive? If so, take into consideration how long rest of roof will last. Our roof is 50 years old, we've had a few repairs over the years, but it's absolutely at the end of its life span.

Yes they're fairly expensive but not as expensive as real slate. I'm just a bit sceptical of the manufacturer's claim of 50 years.
