I've never been, but it's commutable to where I need to relocate to. I've seen a house on the eastern side. Is it a nice place to live??

We moved to just outside Ross last year. I really like it - although the community FB page is full of some of the most miserable, moany people I have ever encountered! Haven't met any of them in real life though so they are probably just sad keyboard warriors with nothing better to do :-)

About twenty years ago I went to a secondhand bookshop in Ross-on-Wye that had the most foul stench I've experienced in a bookshop. I haven't been back but I would guess it's not there anymore. Other than that, I can say it's close to Hay-on-Wye, has good connections to Cheltenham/Gloucester area and Hereford, and the Wye Valley itself is beautiful.
