Wondering if anyone has experience with house insurance claims for flood damage? I had a flood 2 weeks ago, works have been suggested which will take 3-4 months, but the insurance company seem to be dragging their feet. I'm not sure what to expect in terms of time line or the quality of the works. The house was not modern before the leak, will they just do a patch job, as I imagine that will make it look at lot worse that it was before!
Would like to hear others' experiences?
