Everest entering administration according to sky. Does that mean their window guarantees might be void? O guess it depends on any terms of sale to new owners

A local firm with 25 year guarantees shut when I was looking at getting new windows. They opened under a different name in days, even contacting me to see if I still wanted windows!

Watching with interest, as a friend used them recently and is awaiting replacements for windows which cracked after a couple of days. Will customers who have paid for goods which have not yet been delivered lose their money?

Good point about the guarantees, OP. I imagine the manufacturers warranties won't apply, but there may be an insurance backed guarantee under the DGCOS scheme, and if the insurance company is still trading, that guarantee will still exist.
