I am looking for any advice/experience/recommendations for landlord's insurance (including buildings insurance). We are on the point of exchange and completion for a 2 bed student house - my son will be one of the occupants (rent free) and his friend will rent the other room. I presume we need landlord's insurance rather than just straight buildings insurance. (We will own the property outright so no mortgage company involved). Does anyone have any recommendations? Also any advice around tenancy agreements etc gratefully received, we are new to this whole business and want everything to be safe and fair for everyone involved.
