Your property recommendations wanted

I've been looking for an opportunity to be self reliant for sometime now and everything near me is over budget.

I have ill health so been looking for a house with a shepherds hut or a possible income stream that means I can be financially independent/living off my own means.

This is my requirements (which might be the bit that you laugh at, but trying to make it work by only needing a 2 bed)

I'd like a home in a quiet location, but close to amenties (doctors, shop, school)
Budget £550k
At least two bedrooms
Space for an art/craft studio
Not much - if any renovation work
Income stream
I get SAD so need to avoid Scotland, North East etc
Low maintenance property /garden
South facing ideally
Views ideally
Parking

I've considered Wales, Devon, Cornwall etc but not sure if they are fed up of people moving there. I'm mindful to go where we will be welcome. We are a small family of three so need a school and work for a plumber.

Have a look on Reld Property it’s equestrian, however some of the paddocks that come with the houses are smaller.
