Moving to Bangor / Northern Ireland

Hi, we are planning to move to Bangor Northern Ireland. I would like to know where good areas are. We would need to be near the secondary schools which girls can attend. Walking distance or good public transport links to those. Are there any areas to avoid (for racist reasons)? Thank you.

Does it specifically need to be Bangor? NI, particularly the greater Belfast area is very small so if it’s a matter of commuting to work you definitely wouldn’t have to actually live there.

Hi, it is not about commuting. Thank you.

Thank you so much. That sounds reassuring. Thanks as well for the tip with the property website. I think the secondary schools are located near the two big parks, south of the center. Would that be a good area to live? Do you know which areas to avoid?
