Council house conversion

Does anyone know what a council house conversion is like ? I'm thinking sound wise? Would sound proofing be OK. If have small children playing or crying etc is it likely to disturb neighbours.

Its been a month I am bidding houses, i am in band 2. I am shortlisted rank over 20 on all 6 of the properties I have bidded on,

has anyone been in that situation before,how long do I have to wait before being offered a property?
i Am thinking that the property will be offered to those on on of the list. The council placed me in temporary accommodation with my 3 month old baby.
How long will it takes to move on top of the list?

Hi you might be better to make a new thread. But to answer your question. It's hard to tell. It would depend on your housing policy the banding policy and where abouts you are.

In London you could wait years. Maybe similar in main towns city's. So it's hard to answer without knowing where you are

I am currently staying in temporary accommodation.

I just had a look. It seens to be saying approximately 2 years .
