Why are people under the impression london prices have gone up massively since around 2016? They’ve stagnated

Have you got any factual data to share re London house prices since 2016? My impression is that they would have increased at first but decreased more recently and at the present time are probably stagnant. It will all be dependent on postcode anyway with some areas of London being more buoyant than others.
