Hello everyone. I'm after some advice/guidance on buying and renting.
My partner and I both currently live with our parents. I'm a first time buyer, he is not.
I have no kids, he has 4. I do not plan on having any children so as far as buying goes, I have no one to leave any property to.
My question is, in this situation, would buying be a wise choice for us? Whilst I do not begrudge his children anything, a property in joint names would ultimately be left to them after we both passed so are we better off renting and he sort out the inheritance for his children separately?
