Asking on behalf of a first time buyer. Where would you buy inexpensive but good roller blinds that included measuring and fitting service?

Maybe use a local handyman service and get the blinds from IKEA? They're decent quality. Otherwise avoid the national companies (like Hillary's) and try a local supplier- they're easier if you need help with any issues

I'd measure myself, and order from somewhere like blinds2go.

If you want somewhere to measure and fit, find a local recommendation.

Places like Dunelm sell blinds that you can cut.down to size.

Honestly it is very easy to measure for a blind, even the blind company will guide you through the process. We have always used Blinds2Go. Good to learn these skills.

They now do no drill blinds https://www.blinds-2go.co.uk/no-drill-roller-blinds which are tension fit. I have never ordered tension fit but have ordered lots of other blinds from them over the last 15 years. They have a measuring guarantee in case you make a mistake.

You can choose to have a local handyperson come and fit them and when they do ask them to talk you through how they do it so you know how to do it for future.

Or use a local not national blind company who will measure and fit but again watch and learn especially for the type of wall construction you have. Trades people are often very willing to talk through things.
