We're thinking of moving to Sutton Coldfield because we've heard there are good schools and lots of green spaces, which would be perfect for our baby girl. We've heard that Little Aston and Four Oaks are the best spots in Sutton, but right now, there aren't many houses for sale within our budget of 450k (or less). So, my wife and I are wondering what other areas like Roughley, Driffold, Maney, Boldmere, and Streetly are like compared to Four Oaks, especially when it comes to schools and property value(potential). How would you rank them?

We know we probably can't afford a place in Four Oaks or Little Aston right now. Our plan is to buy a house in one of the other areas in Sutton first and then hopefully save up enough money over the next 5-8 years, by the time our daughter is older, to move to one of those areas for a really good secondary school down the line :)

Many thanks
Jason

I lived in Streetly for 18years and before that Boldmere for 4years.Boldmere is not nice , Maney is almost in the town, which is a bit of a no go area these days.I know Roughley, but not what it is like to live there,it’s near Four Oaks so definitely worth looking at.

So I would say Streetly or Roughley might be best for you,

I live in Lichfield now which has lots of new developments, every second person seems to have moved here from Sutton Coldfield. It’s a fabulous small City.

Good luck with your search.
