Blackfen Road

Hi mums,

I will soon be moving to the area, but someone mentioned to me that Blackfen Road is very busy and always full of traffic. I am panicking a bit now as it seems that this is the road I will need to use daily to get to places. Can anyone tell me, is it really that bad? Does it really get jammed all the time?

Thank you, I should have specified! It will be towards the end, close to the roundabout. I believe there is a petrol station there as well.

Is the property actually on the road? I live not far from there and it does get busy but probably only noticeable if you're right on the road.

Yes, the property is on the road. I don't actually mind if the road is busy, but I am now worried that I might have difficulties to actually get out of the house if the traffic is 'stuck'. Is it normally packed all day or only certain times?

It's busy at school pick up as there's several schools in the area. It can be slow moving but never been stuck.

It will be fine OP, busy around normal commute times and school drop off / pick ups etc but just a normal road otherwise - and super handy for the A2!
