Hook, Hampshire

Hello! My partner & I are considering buying a house in Hook… we’d love to live in West Surrey, but we are simply out priced.

does anyone know much about Hook as an area please? What’s it like to live there? What is around?

going to try and visit there this week!

Very easy, great rail service, decent doctor and dentist and a small supermarket in the town. Hook itself is a little dull but lots of beautiful countryside and villages close by, Rotherwick, Hartley Wintney etc which have little pubs and shops. It's a very easy area.

Very close to Basingstoke so near lots of shops. Easy to get to London and lots of surrounding green areas. It’s nice. Fairly non descript but pleasant.
