Looking for ideas…we are wanting to knock through the two walls to open up the back of the house, The dining room, kitchen and garden room. We are wanting to have kitchen diner and a family area with sofa etc. So want to make best use of the space. We will be renovating the lounge too and would like to keep this room separate although at this stage we are open to all sorts of ideas. Thank you xx

It's quite narrow. I'd be a bit concerned it could end up feeling corridor like if you take everything out.

Would you close off the doors to the living room or are they needed for light? That would give you a really long run for units. With all the doors and windows it looks like there's not much space for full height cupboards. These tend to further narrow a space so would be best on an end wall if possible.

I'd move kitchen into current dining room, close off door to living room but it is going to need careful thought to balance the space well.

Thank you that’s my thoughts exactly, we don't need the doors into the living room for light we have a huge living room window at the front, We were thinking of blocking up these doors and blocking up the doors opposite into garden and making that a window. Thank you for your comments it’s much appreciated
