Hi everyone,

My husband and I are looking to move to Suffolk with our 2 year old son and new baby (due any day now!). We have been looking at areas near Woodbridge and found a home that we are eager to put in an offer in Rendlesham.

We've explored the surrounding areas and Woodbridge but wanted to get opinions from anyone who lives near here, or specifically in Rendlesham. What's it like? Do you like it and is it good for families? My husband and I are both happy to drive to places and felt that Woodbridge high street as well as other villages nearby were close enough to access too.

Also if anyone has any insight about schools it would be appreciated! I noticed that there are a few primary schools local but secondary schools are a bit further out. Has this been an issue for some?
Overall just looking for some feedback on people's experience in the area or in the surrounding places.

We love this home but want to make sure it's a good fit for us area wise.
Thank you so much!

Rendlesham has a lot of families living there. From memory there are some shops, doctors, and dentist. Can't comment on the primary school but there is also one in Eyke the next village heading towards Woodbridge. Most children will go into Farlingaye for high school and get the bus there.

You are about 20/25 minutes to the coast Aldeburgh or Thorpeness. You will definitely need a car as the bus service is not great.
