New washing machine also leaking underneath wtf?!

My washing machine was slowly leaking and damaged the flat downstairs. It also damaged the kitchen floor.

I bought a new washing machine and new flooring and the landlord installed it.

Now a few weeks in im seeing leaking under the washing machine again!

I cant fucking deal with this shit. I have a newborn and it feels like its one thing after another with this flat.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

It leaking when its not in use and directly underneath, not from any of the pipes or hoses.

Please, in hoping someone can advise.

There shouldn't be any water in it when it isn't in use. Which makes me think that it isn't the washing machine which is leaking? And possible never has been?

Yea must be a pipe leading to the machine not the machine itself. Floorboards need removing....

Actually I retract that slightly in that there could be a leak in the pipe which feeds the washing machine?

Soooo

It ended up being the landlords old copper pipes were leaking!

I didn't need to get rid of my previous washing machine and I shouldn't have bought new flooring.

Yep. That makes more sense. Sorry you had to go through all that stress. Glad it is sorted now.
