Shared ownership pros and cons?

Hi there,

I live in the south east of England… Hampshire / Surrey area and need a 3 bedroom property. Wondering what the pros and cons of buying a shared ownership is?

I haven’t heard any good reports about it tbh. It gets you on the property ladder but you don’t have shared repair/maintenance costs and has a limited resale market I assume.
