Can anyone help with cleaning limestone

I have tumbled limestone flags in my garden and I've spilt grease from the bbq on them quite badly. I've tried scrubbing with hot soapy water but it hasn't touched it.Has anyone any suggestions?

One of the best grease cutters out there is ammonia . Use 90% hot water, 10% ammonia and a squeeze of dish soap. Use with a brush. It smells really strong, so back away! This also makes an excellent carpet spot cleaner. HTH
