Hey all!

Got planning for a dormer with flat glass on roof but want to change to lanterns which will be a slight change in appearance not noticeable from road but will be to upstairs of neighbours , would we need to go back to planning ?

Thanks
GG

If it needed planning permission in the first place then yes, you will need to go back. Development has to be in accordance with the approved drawings. If the final development deviates from those drawings, it is unauthorised and could technically result in the Council taking enforcement action.

You should be able to go via the minor amendment route
