Moving for the second time - where do I start?

I've moved out of my parents into student halls and back again and out of my parents into my own flat. I'm now having to move out of my flat.

But where do I begin with everything? I've got several weeks yet (housing association have told us there's major issues with the building and we need to move
They're going to help house us and giving us a payment to help with moving)

I've started making a list of who I need to contact about change of address.

Is there an easy way of packing up? I've got 9 years of stuff that needs sorting.

Have you got a place to move to?
I'd start by having a massive clear out, and sell/donate/recycle/bin as much as you can.
Then box up stuff you won't use for a bit - any Christmas bits, winter clothes, books etc.

If you possibly can afford to, set up a mail redirect for 6+months, to catch most of your post. Yes to a list off the net about useful people to contact.

Will you have to move all on one day? You will likely need help. And a van if you have furniture.
