I know there’s threads around these areas already but I’m hoping for a more updated version! We currently live in South Manchester (renting) and are now looking to buy. We know certain areas better than others and feel as though we are most drawn to Cheadle Hulme, Altrincham and Knutsford (all with their own merits and both of us with slightly different preferences).
Are there any areas within these areas we should stay away from? Eg we wouldn’t buy near adswood even though a property might be in the CH border. Any experiences in these areas and how they compare?
Any other areas we might want to consider? We are looking more at location than size of house- so we’d rather recommendations based of the niceness of the area (we don’t think there’s any corner cutting down here e.g. here’s a secret nice area with all the amenities you want but cheaper!).
